Bespoke storefront design
Built from the brand rather than from a theme. A luxury store should look like the vitrine, not like the eleven thousand other shops running the same purchased layout with a different logo.
The Ateliers · Shopify Development
OMRUs is a Shopify Platinum Partner and has delivered more than two hundred stores since 2015. The work is custom luxury storefronts, migrations from Magento and WooCommerce, and the performance engineering that keeps a heavy catalogue fast on a phone.
The Discipline
A luxury storefront carries fewer products, larger images and a slower purchase decision than the theme it was probably built on. Almost every part of it needs rethinking.
Built from the brand rather than from a theme. A luxury store should look like the vitrine, not like the eleven thousand other shops running the same purchased layout with a different logo.
Large imagery, heavy typography and third-party scripts are what make luxury stores slow. Each is dealt with individually, because a buyer who waits four seconds on a phone does not wait a fifth.
References, calibres, carat weights, certificate numbers and metals structured as metafields rather than buried in description text, so the catalogue can be filtered, indexed and merchandised properly.
Moves from Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and bespoke platforms, with URL mapping planned before anything is touched. Most traffic lost in a migration is lost to redirects nobody wrote.
High-ticket checkout behaves differently. Deposits, part payment, financing, wire transfer, insured shipping and identity checks are handled as first-class parts of the flow rather than bolted on.
A house with sixty pieces cannot merchandise like one with sixty thousand. Collections, editorial placement and cross-selling are built for depth of consideration rather than breadth of choice.
ERP, inventory, appraisal, CRM and email connected properly. Every additional app is a performance cost, so each one has to justify what it takes from the page.
Structure, schema and internal linking present at launch rather than retrofitted six months later. A rebuild that loses rankings has cost more than it delivered.
Documentation, training and a single point of contact afterwards. The store is yours to run, and OMRUs does not build dependency into the handover.
In Their Words
One point of contact, answers within the hour, and results they never oversell. We came by referral, as apparently everyone does.
The store looks like our vitrine and loads faster than anything we’ve owned. Organic inquiries tripled, and the quality of buyer changed as much as the quantity.
They understood references, provenance and our margins before we finished explaining. In some rooms they know this industry better than the people selling in it.
Questions, Answered
Most OMRUs builds run six to twelve weeks from brief to launch, depending on catalogue size, integrations and how clean the existing product data is. Migrations from Magento or a bespoke platform sit at the longer end, because URL mapping and data reconciliation take real time.
Custom, in almost every case. A purchased theme is built for volume retail and carries assumptions that work against a house selling sixty pieces at five figures. Where budget requires starting from a theme, OMRUs says so before quoting rather than after.
Yes. OMRUs has migrated stores from Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and custom platforms. The URL map is written before development starts, because the traffic lost in a migration is almost always lost to redirects nobody planned.
It can, and that is the main risk in any replatform. OMRUs treats search structure as part of the build rather than a later phase: URLs, schema, internal linking and page architecture are decided before design is finished, so the new store launches with its rankings intact.
Yes. OMRUs works across Shopify and Shopify Plus, and will advise plainly when Plus is not worth the increase. Many luxury houses do not need it, and being told so is more useful than being sold it.
Documentation, training for your team and a single point of contact. OMRUs keeps fifteen specialists in-house and outsources nothing, so the person who built the store is reachable afterwards.
